Thousands of copies of the American feature ‘The Stoning of Soraya M' sold in Iran's western provinces - Iranian pro-government site Parcham reported that thousands of copies of Stoning of Soraya M were smuggled into Iran by "counterrevolutionary elements" and sold in Iran's western provinces. The site refers to this film as one "portraying Islam as a brutal religion, and aiming at defaming the initiator of the Islamic Revolution and Iran". (Video).
