To the WSJ - Palestinian Abuses Greated with Silence
Your Nov. 3 editorial "Palestine's Missing Critics" is most timely. Last month, the Palestinian Independent Commission for Human Rights reported on a military court decision in Gaza to execute 35 year-old Abdel Karim Alabd Sharir. The reaction of the world, led by Amnesty International, has been engraved in a steel box of silence. In parallel, British Foreign Secretary David Miliband spoke in Jordan against Israel's so-called infringement of human rights in Jerusalem. Another lesson on Europe's ongoing hypocrisy in the name of short-term expediency.
